Meeting Manny and Simple Steps for Health
Yesterday I was fortunate to spend a few hours with Manny Hernandez, founder of TuDiabetes. Over lunch we talked about various efforts that underway to help folks with diabetes to improve their control.Manny and David Edelman of DiabetesDaily are collaborating on a new site called simple steps for health, and they're looking for input from you.
They are asking you to submit simple ideas that make it easier to live with diabetes, and simple is key. Your idea should not cost a lot or take much time to use.
You can submit these until the end of April (2009) and we can vote on them if you add a link to your submission.
Yes, there's some prizes, see the bottom of the Simple Steps for Health page. But you may also help others with diabetes, and that has to be better than any prize.

Very cool Bernard.
I've mentioned before, but it is worth saying again. I think so highly of David and Manny, and how they are working together to bring great things to us.
I love how these two diabetes powerhouses of communities are banding together. It really says a lot about the character of both of them.
I am proud to be involved, and proud to call them both my friend.
Cool
I posted an idea, mostly for laughs. Hope it worked.
I am sorry I hadn't come through here in a while, amigo. It was SO cool to meet you even if it was briefly while I came through Boston!
Hi, my mother is diabetic but she lives a fully managed and healthy life. She actively participates in all family and social events and meet people with complete warmness. She uses One Touch Ultra2 Blood Glucose Meter to manage and maintain her glucose level. This meter gives her accurate information about her glucose level and accordingly she manages her daily routine activities. This meter has really helped her to live a healthy life.
